What Is Leadership
Goodlettsville?
Leadership Goodlettsville is a new, independent not for profit
organization dedicated to a strong and vibrant future
Goodlettsville. Its purpose is to create a growing cadre of citizens
who know about their community, who care about their community – and
who are representative of all segments of the community.
Each year Leadership Goodlettsville will provide 25 selected
individuals an opportunity to participate in a series of six events,
each lasting the better part of a day and spread over a six month
period. These events will include site visits to important
Goodlettsville locations and candid dialogue with community leaders
in the public, private and volunteer sectors. The topics addressed
will include Goodlettsville’s economy, quality of life, education,
planning, and city government and services.
The program is designed to explore how the community functions and
to educate participants themselves as to widely differing points of
view.
